WHAT IS PROFHILO®?
Profhilo® is a unique skin bio-remodelling treatment designed to treat wrinkles from within. Profhilo® rejuvenates your skin giving you a refreshed and luminous glowing complexion. From the age of 30, skin begins to lose a significant amount of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid (HA). This treatment will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin with a slow release of HA which significantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. HOW DOES PROFHILO® WORK?
Unlike dermal fillers, Profhilo® does not add volume, think of it more as a huge boost of hydration from within. This injectable treatment has a very high concentration of HA which is injected into the skin through five different key points on each side of the face. A unique aesthetic treatment, Profhilo® works in stages which requires two treatments with a four-week interval. You will see results instantly after the second treatment. Profhilo® remains in the skin for around 28 days after, working hard to stimulate four different types of collagen and elastin as it slowly releases hyaluronic acid.
This results in improved skin quality and skin hydration both in the dermis and epidermis. There is also increased production of endogenous HA and elastin giving the skin a more youthful look.
Profhilo® does not create true lift or volume replacement associated with cross-linked dermal fillers, however, it creates volume in the tissue where it is needed due to its high spreadability. Owing to this characteristic, it is an ideal treatment for challenging areas as well, such as the neck, perioral area, and hands and arms, where we do not see the significant volume loss, but skin has lost elasticity.
WHAT DOES TREATMENT INVOLVE?
We inject Profhilo® using a five-point technique on each side of the face, each insertion is immediately noticeable. Small lumps can form where each of the injection sites have been. These lumps will subside usually within 4-6 hours after the treatment (if not sooner) however not every patient gets these swellings.
WILL PROFHILO® WORK FOR MY SKIN TYPE?

Profhilo® is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also effectively be used for rejuvenating the neck, decollete, arms, knees and hands. Increasingly, the neck is becoming a popular area to have Profhilo®, due to its ability to help reduce crepe-like skin and sagginess, and encourage a firmer appearance.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROFHILO® AND DERMAL FILLERS?
Due to the way that Profhilo® is formulated, it is not a volumising treatment in the same way that dermal filler are, and is not used to enhance specific areas of the face (e.g. lips, cheeks, chin). Profhilo® is primarily a hydrating treatment, and the Hyaluronic Acid it contains is dispersed evenly throughout the face, giving your skin a more plump and firm look overall.

The results from Profhilo® treatments will most often last for up to six months, but results can differ from person to person
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM PROFHILO®?
After a single course of Profhilo®, which involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart, you can expect to see an intense hydration. It makes the skin glow and fine lines can disappear. You’ll notice smoother, tighter skin. Even for those with very wrinkled skin, an improvement in the texture is undeniable. The treatment can be repeated after six months in cases where more repair is desired.
Usually, people won’t be able to tell you’ve had a treatment as the results are enhanced natural looking beautiful skin. But this depends on the skin condition being treated and the desired outcome. Profhilo® can significantly improve skin laxity. By increasing the tissue density some patients have seen some lifting, which can be noticeable. Profhilo Neck Treatment
In the neck, Profhilo is injected in 10 points, as shown in the image. The product is injected locally, just under the skin, making it extremely safe.
The Profhilo product spreads under the skin and encourages the production of collagen, elastane and hyaluronic acid. It targets areas of skin laxity, creating a tighter, smoother, lifted appearance of the neck with glowing skin. This improvement in skin quality reduces the signs of ageing.
What makes Profhilo special?
What truly makes Profhilo special is how it is made—developed with NAHYCO Hybrid Technology, it is 8 times less likely to degrade than any other dermal filler or skinbooster for lasting effects!
